Scott & Wilkinson Out in Force to Celebrate 100 Years

On Thursday 11th October the Scott & Wilkinson team were out in force to celebrate the firm's 100th birthday year.
The chosen venue was Soul Bowl in Morecambe, and we were delighted that 36 member of staff were able to attend. The evening was great fun, with colleagues taking on colleagues as the teams battled for glory.
Andy Hill was the best bowler on the night, receiving a £50 Amazon voucher and trophy in recognition of his sporting prowess, while the members of the overall winning team (Alan, Gareth, Dan, Heather, Emma and Cara) each received small trophies to proudly display in the office or at home.
The most noteable performance of the evening came from Meg who was awarded the wooden spoon for her services to good sportsmanship, and enjoying the lowest score of the evening.
A thoroughly enjoyable event and a big thank you to all who managed to organise baby sitters and rearrange their plans in order to attend.

Today’s Spring Budget was surprisingly bold. Despite limited fiscal room for manoeuvre, the Chancellor was nonetheless able to fund several welcome tax-saving measures for small businesses and workers alike.
