Another Qualified Accountant – Congratulations Rachel Wright

Huge congratulations are in order again as Rachel Wright has successfully passed her final exam and is now a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). It has been a busy period for Rachel, as in addition to sitting her final exam you may remember she recently got married in September to husband, Steven. Now that the wedding planning and the seemingly endless hours of studying are over we hope that Rachel can celebrate this brilliant achievement and enjoy newly married life without any studying.

Rachel attended the well-known Lancaster Girls Grammar School where she took her GCSE’s and A levels. After receiving impressive A level results, we couldn’t wait for Rachel to join Scott & Wilkinson in 2015. In 2017, Rachel successfully completed all her exams for the CAT qualification and immediately began studying towards the ACCA qualification and chartered membership.

Rachel undertakes a wide array of work for the firm in various industries including, producing annual accounts and undertaking statutory audits in the agricultural and charitable sectors. Always reliable and hardworking, we can count on Rachel to get any job, big or small, done. A team player, Rachel has represented the firm in the annual Lloyds 5-aside tournament for local businesses when we were a player short on the day.

In Rachel’s spare time she works with her husband, Steven, on his family’s farm and in particular enjoys caring for the flock of sheep. When Rachel is not busy pitching in on the farm she loves cooking and baking (lucky Steven) as well as going for walks in the lake district.
