A Very Warm Welcome...
Date: 21/03/18
Over the last 12 months the Scott & Wilkinson Bookkeeping Department has seen unprecedented growth and we are delighted to introduce the most recent recruits to the team. Janet Pardula and Heather Lawson are both well-known local faces and may well be familiar to many of our clients.
Heather comes from a local farming family and grew up in Conder Green from where she attended Cockerham Primary School and later, Ripley St. Thomas. Since joining Scott & WIlkinson, Heather has worked on a wide variety of clients and alongside her colleagues in implementing online accounting package Xero.
Riding has always been a major passion in Heather’s life, something she has passed on to her son Daniel and daughter Darcy. Although no longer living on a farm, Heather and her family have not moved too far as she shares her home in Galgate with her children and partner Martin, a haulier.
Janet, although an ‘incomer’ born in St. Helens, has spent many years living in the Lancaster area. If you are wondering where you have seen her face before it could well be while shopping for furnishings as Janet most recently spent 7 years in the finance department of M J Bird & Son in Bolton-le-Sands. Earlier in her career Janet ran her own business in Scotforth and studied Accountancy at Lancaster and Morecambe College.
While being Mum to Ruby and Jamie, Janet is heavily involved with her local community. She helps to run Carnforth Rangers U10 football team for whom son Jamie is a keen player, as well as supporting Bolton-le-Sands Scouts by reclaiming their Gift Aid on their fundraising activity. A very busy lady.
So now we have introduced you to Janet and Heather, do say hello next time you are in the office!
