Lancaster City Council opens applications for their new Winter Grant Scheme

Lancaster City Council (LCC) has launched its new Winter Grant Scheme to help support businesses in the most affected sectors who continue to be severely financially impacted due to Covid restrictions.

The size of the grant available will range from £250 - £2,500 and will be determined based on the business's rateable value. If your business has no rateable value then the grant will be determined based on your fixed annual costs. Proof of all ongoing, fixed annual business costs will need to be provided and could include lease agreements, business rental agreements, business mortgages, business utilities, employer’s pension and NI contributions, etc.

Businesses in the following sectors are eligible to apply:

  • Travel / Tour Operators
  • Tourism
  • Hospitality
  • Accommodation (excluding Campsites and Self-Catering Businesses)
  • Retail
  • Arts
  • Culture & Events
  • Personal Services e.g. health & beauty
  • Kennels & Catteries
  • Supply chains to the above sectors

Applications for this grant must be received by 4 February 2022.
