New additions to our Admin Team

We are delighted to welcome three new additions to our expanding admin team. Those who have recently visited the office may have already met our new receptionists Dawn Bargh and Terri Ormesher. Plus working in a new role, behind the scenes, is our Office Administrator, Angela Danskin.

Dawn joined us in November 2021 after spending over 35 years working for a Building society and then a local plumbing and heating firm. Taking on one of our receptionist positions, Dawn has proved to be a fantastic addition to the firm ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front desk. Born and bred in Lancaster, Dawn attended Ripley St Thomas before settling down to raise her two, now fully grown, children. Still a local, Dawn lives a stone’s throw away in Bolton-le-sands with her partner, Darren, and their two gorgeous dogs, Ted and Wilf. In her spare time, Dawn enjoys walking Ted and Wilf, cooking, socialising and adventurous holidays.

The other half of our great reception team duo is Terri, who also joined us in November 2021. Terri lives locally, in Heysham, and attended Our Lady’s Catholic College. Before joining Scott & Wilkinson, Terri worked in roles within the retail and hospitality industry as well as a business admin role for a local care provider. Although you would never know based on Terri’s previous roles she originally trained and qualified as a Florist. When away from the office Terri loves trips to the Lake District, where she goes walking and kayaking.

And last but by no means least, is our new Office Administrator, Angela. The role which Angela has undertaken is a new one within the firm and includes all client onboarding tasks, the maintenance of our client databases and assisting in our push to become a paperless office. Having always worked within the food services sector, this new role is a change of direction for Angela. Angela is originally from Bradford but moved to the area in 2002. A fun fact about Angela is that her dog, Ronnie, is Greek. Following a holiday to Rhodes in 2016, Angela fell in love with Ronnie from Soroni so much so that she brought her back home. No doubt an interesting conversation at the Airport bag scanning!
