A Competitive Evening of Rounders

A Competitive Evening of Rounders

Last night (21st July) we went head-to-head with Oglethorpe, Sturton & Gillibrand Solicitors (OSG) in a competitive evening of rounders.

The spectacle took place at Westgate Cricket Club and was well attended by both of the offices along with their families. In fact, the evening was so well attended each side had enough players to field two teams each.

Following on from a quick recap of the rules the first two games took place with each team getting 20 minutes to score as many rounders as possible. It was great to see so many players and spectators invested in the games and there were plenty of fine performances on display.

After some thrilling batting, a well-deserved tea break was taken. A big thank you to Pzazz Pizza for the delicious pizza which went down a treat with everyone.

Overall the evening was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. A special thanks is due to the event’s organisers Bethany Wood (OSG) and Andy Hill (Scott & Wilkinson) as well as Westgate Cricket Club for their warm hospitality.

We look forward to making this an annual event on the summer calendar!
