We have been serving Lancaster and the surrounding areas for over 50 years, although our client base stretches the length and breadth of England.
Our office is based in Dalton Square in the centre of Lancaster where our whole team of over 45 staff members is based, meaning the successful candidate will be joining a close team within a friendly and supportive environment.
Due to recent expansions in many of our key client bases, we are looking to grow our team.
The Role
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Producing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for limited companies
- Producing partnership and sole trader accounts and tax returns
- Mentoring junior team members and assisting with their development and training
- Reporting to manager and/or director
- Liaising with clients and developing and maintaining client relationships
You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Qualified or Part Qualified (near to completing) with ACA or ACCA, or QBE with practice experience in a similar role.
- Experienced working within an accountancy practice
- Familiar with using software packages including Xero and Sage or other similar (full training will be provided where necessary)
- Driven and self-motivated
