About Wendy Hird

Wendy’s exceptional knowledge and experience, gained through spending 7 years with  HM Revenue and Customs and 21 years with Scott & Wilkinson, makes her one of our most respected taxation specialists. She has worked with many of her existing clients since joining us in 1996, and believes that the insights and understanding that come with committed working relationships allows her to deliver the best possible advice.

The core services offered by Wendy and the team include the completion of personal tax returns and advice on capital gains for individuals, trusts and estates. Wendy also advises clients on taxation of rental and investment income, and is highly regarded for work in helping new clients who may need their tax affairs bringing up to date and negotiating with HMRC on their behalf.

A true Lancastrian, Wendy attended Carnforth High School and then the sixth form at Morecambe High School. She completed the Association of Taxation Technicians qualification in 1991. Wendy lives in Bolton-le-Sands and has two grown-up children, and when she can find the time, enjoys sports and walking in our glorious local countryside.
