About Margaret Curran
Margaret joined the Scott & Wilkinson team in 2024, bringing with her an impressive wealth of knowledge gained from over 25 years of experience in taxation along with qualifications from the Association of Taxation Technicians gained in 1992 and more recently the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates in 2022.
Margaret began her career with HM Revenue & Customs before switching into practice working at various accountancy practices. Although Margaret advises in various areas of personal taxation including capital gains, rental and investment income, she specialises in dealing with Trusts and Estates.
Originally from Preston, Margaret has now settled down in Lancaster with her cats, Meerkat and Flare. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, baking, gardening (although professes not to be very good at it), socialising and going to the theatre.
