Congratulations Cara Dawson!
Date: 23/10/23
A massive congratulations are in order for our colleague, Cara Dawson, who has successfully completed all her exams to become an ACCA Qualified Accountant – a super achievement!
Cara joined us in 2017 following two years of living in Sweden at an International Bible School. Prior to this, Cara attended school here in Lancaster at Ripley St Thomas where she sat her GCSE’s and A-levels. In 2019, Cara successfully completed all her exams for the CAT qualification and immediately began studying towards the ACCA qualification and chartered membership.
Not one to shy away from a challenge, Cara sat and passed two of her last four exams in June 22 all whilst planning for her wedding which took place the following month – surely the best wedding gift?
In her day-to-day Cara undertakes a lot of work within our charities sector including accounts preparation and performing statutory audits as well as tax and accounts across a wide array of our other client sectors. Cara is also one of our star bakers, always willing to help out and bake tasty treats for our charity bake sales.
Away from the office, Cara enjoys keeping active playing lots of sports, hiking in the lakes and cycling and is always planning her next holiday away!
