Meet the Team - Chris Carter

We are celebrating the recent success of accountant Chris Carter who was accepted as a member of the ACCA on 31st August this year. ACCA is the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the global body for professional accountants. Congratulations Chris!

 For those of you have come up against Scott & Wilkinson at local sporting fixtures, Chris will be a familiar figure. Always full of energy and with an unfair amount of talent, Chris has represented the firm in cricket, football and rounders tournaments. He also plays for more serious teams including Morecambe Royals FC and Westgate Cricket Club, as well as playing badminton for Hest Bank in the Lancaster League, and for Branthwaite in the Westmorland League. As we said, an unfair amount of sporting prowess.

 Chris was educated at LRGS and then, before taking up his position with Scott & Wilkinson, spent 12 months as an apprentice with a firm in Morecambe. With his family based in Bare, Chris has had the good sense to remain in the area and we are proud to say that he has been working with us since 2013.

 Chris works alongside the Partners and Associate at Scott & Wilkinson, producing annual accounts and undertaking statutory audits for a wide range of clients. Sole traders, retailers, transport companies, agricultural businesses and hotels have all benefitted from Chris’s enthusiastic and thorough approach to work. A great asset to the firm, both on and off the field.
